Fourteen winters
on these ridges

We started guiding friends up the slopes above Gudauri long before ski touring had a Georgian word for it. Fourteen winters later we are still here — a small team of local guides running trips across four regions of the Greater and Lesser Caucasus: Gudauri, Kazbegi, Svaneti and Bakhmaro.

Between us that is well over a thousand days on these ridges. We have skied them in deep powder and in breakable crust, in bluebird calm and in weather that sent us home early. That is the difference you feel on a trip: not a certificate on a wall, but a guide who has stood on that exact slope in these exact conditions before.

How we work

Our promise is simple: honest snow assessments, conservative decisions, small groups, and the kind of route knowledge you only get from skiing the same valleys every week of every winter. When the mountain says no, we go somewhere else — there is always another line in the Caucasus.

Every guest carries a transceiver, probe and shovel, provided by us and practised together before the first skin track.
